April news

Please enjoy a lovely Piano Solo livestream concert in one of Berlin’s most charming small clubs #Mastul including a live talk with the public via Internet. This month our radio adaption of Elena Ferrante’s book „My brilliant Friend“ has been nominated for the german „Hörbuchpreis“2021. This is great news while I am still writing on the music for the next 15 Parts of this series. Another focus in April is on the music for the longterm documentation about the begin of the #pandemic 2020 until June 2021. I am writing the music for a kind of media diary. Designed by Volker Heise, #zeroonefilm. After Berlin 1945 – Tagebuch einer Großstadt, our good collaboration continues!

Another great moment in April was the invitation of composer Iris ter Schiphorst, who invited me to teach her students at the School of Music and Fine Arts in Vienna. I did a presentation of my most important film works and demonstrated how I work with Logic, Protools but also pen and paper and at my grand piano. These lectures can bring back into my mind, what, why and how I am actually thinking and working with music. My roots appear, my visions and passion are clearly expressed. Only with the circle of the audience the creation of art really closes ❣️
