September brings the Radio premiere of #Überweben based on a collection of 10 letters written by the artist Etel Adnan. They were published in the little book #Lifeisaweaving. It is frightening how topical these letters from 1968 are: „…we are living off meats aging in fridges, we are listening to rude sentences on the radio, our elactoral campaigns are to vomit, obsolescent people in the administrations, we breathe layers of soot and swallow car-gas fumes to the point where petrol is our daily drink rather then wine…“ Featuring the great actors Ilse Ritter, August Diehl & Valery Tscheplanowa. The music is a weaving too, done with branches of dead trees, malas, nuts and dry leaves over spare endless-sounding piano chords. Please find two links here with further informations:
